Pestana Rio Atlantica

All the personnel, from reception, to bar/breakfast and cleaning services have been extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good, variety of salty and sweets and fresh fruits. We appreciated also the crêpes that were made on order. The lobby has a good relaxing area. Hotel is located on sea front at copacabana you just have to cross the street to find your perfect spot on the beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars around. We felt it safe to walk close to the hotel after dinner.

Amazing staff, excellent location (you have 2 supermarkets near and a lot of stores) comfortable beds, good rooftop meal prices, nice pool and super clean hotel. Everyone working at the rooftop area are extremely nice and helpful, happy to serve and to give you tips, that’s really amazing! Billy and company at the rooftop bar are incredible! as same as Sousa and company at the breakfast area. The best asset of this hotel are the staff, definitely!

The prime location on Copacabana beach and the roof pool and bar/restaurant with stunning views. The rooms were comfortable, the buffet breakfast was superb with a great variety of fruit, cheese, ham and cooked food such as omelettes and sausages. But none of this would’ve been important without the charm, goodwill and friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They were marvellous.

All the staff were amazing. So helpful and kind! Special thanks to Henrique at the reception. Luiza at the breakfast was an angel being super helpful. Billy, also at breakfast was so kind and full of joy, always smiling! Aline and Gerson at the swimming pool bar were amazing.. we also have to talk about the delicious food at the restaurant, shout out to chef Mariana!! The hotel is busy but relaxing and the staff made our stay extra special. We would happily return to stay again when in Rio

We had a great stay at Pestana Rio Atlântica during our business trip. Our group was accommodated on the same floor, which was very convenient. My room was spacious, featuring a large, comfortable bed and a small balcony with a partial ocean view. The bathroom was clean, with a nice shower and complimentary shampoo and conditioner. A safe was available (though not fixed to anything) and the minibar was stocked, though quite expensive. One of the highlights of the hotel is the rooftop, one of the highest in the area, offering a stunning view of Copacabana Beach, a pool, and a restaurant/bar service. During Carnival, they organized a samba show with two dancers, which was a fun touch. The breakfast was excellent! Bit crowded after 8.00 am. The beach is right in front of the hotel and there are many restaurants, bars and caffee around. Overall, the cleanliness was excellent, and the staff was friendly (especially Gregori) and helpful, they also arranged the transfer back to the airport. A solid choice for both business and leisure stays in Rio!
